Donor Database Coordinator
Location: Opportunity Center – Tice

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida works with the community providing support in mission services, retail and donated goods, and business development.
Description of Responsibilities: Supports the Director of Development by managing donor database, communication and research. The coordinator will be focused on data management in order to identify, cultivate, solicit and thank donor and volunteers. Must be comfortable working with a diverse population and have excellent attention to detail.
Required Experience: Manage database that includes donors, volunteers and community leaders. This includes but is not limited to: input gifts, acknowledgements, note on donor communication and relations.
Ensure information is continually organized and updated for the needs of the organization and fundraising team.
Create data informed prospect lists for solicitations and outreach. Analyze current donors and research potential donors and opportunities for community engagement and development initiatives. Manage cultivation and solicitation appointments for Director of Development and Senior Vice President of Mission Services and Development.
Required skills: High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree in a related field preferred. One (1) year of donor relations or data entry experience required, three (3) years preferred. Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Ability to use software programs to track donors, gifts and reports. Knowledge of capital campaign strategy a plus.
