Director of Fundraising & Events:

Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR) seeks an experienced fundraising professional to lead a comprehensive development program. The successful candidate will be dynamic, results-oriented, and fit well into a positive, compassionate non-profit environment.

Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR) provides partial tuition assistance for high-quality early childhood care and education to low-income families that struggle to afford childcare and whose children are at a high risk of starting kindergarten behind their peers. CCCR operates four early childhood development centers in Collier County, and our goal is to give the 300 children we serve annually the best start for a bright future. We are a small and flexible team running a successful, growing $2 million+ operation. Position Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Development, formulate, implement, and direct event strategies for the organization, and plan successful events that advance the recognition of the organization and brand to better meet our fundraising goals.
  • Create, plan, and execute all CCCR events throughout the year
  • Develop a comprehensive event plan  and timeline that supports the mission of CCCR; update annually
  • Develop a network of and coordinate event volunteers and committee members that make planning and executing each community event a simple process
  • Coordinate volunteers for special events, community volunteer projects, and donor experiences
  • Collaborate with and support Events Committee in executing special events
  • Solicit monetary and in-kind donations for events
  • In collaboration with Director of Marketing and Communications, ensure timely event announcements, invitations, table sponsorship letters, and thank you letters
  • In coordination with the Director of Development, solicit event sponsorships from individuals and corporate sponsors
  • Implement and maintain BidPal system for event management
  • Assist in the writing and mailing of event thank you letters and other event correspondence
  • Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including collaboration with subcontractors, venue identification, menu development, printing and design of materials, budget tracking and the procurement of event items
  • Collaborate with the Development Team within the organization as well as local community groups
  • In partnership with the Director of Development, strive to reach event fundraising goals
  • Create summary reports of each event
  • Analyze event summary reports and use data gathered from past events to develop successful future events
  • Responsible for CCCR Business 100 corporate sponsorship program to ensure  membership of 100 current members annually
  • Coordinate with outside fundraising, marketing and event consultants as needed
  • Contribute to the overall success of the agency
  • Special projects or duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Three+ years of professional experience in events preferred, non-profit experience a plus
  • Deep knowledge of fundraising principles and donor relations cycle; CFRE preferred
