Registrar / Records Manager

Job Description:

Duties - 25 Hours per week

  •  Maintain student and donor databases
  • Plan, implement, and maintain student registration process
  • Coordinate scheduling with other administrators
  • Review and/or establish records management systems
  • Develop, maintain, verify and evaluate existing systems
  • Oversee any necessary changes in electronic systems record-keeping
  • Produce and/or deliver record reports
  • Handle enquiries and requests for information from both internal and external clients
  • Ensure compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements and regulations
  • Ensure that data is protected
  • Classify and index records according to accepted standards
  • Destroy or archive finished data/records
  • Ensure that records are easily accessible when needed
  • Provide training to staff as needed
  • Handle other duties that may be assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements

  •  Highly skilled user of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Experience, understanding and efficient user of databases and other IT systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or business (Associate Degree and 5 years of experience may be substituted)
  • 3 years of experience
  • Bilingual skills helpful
